Good Dogs – Shelter Showcase PAWS Collaboration

“Good Dogs – Shelter Showcase” is an exciting showcase and runway event aimed at celebrating rescue dogs and promoting their adoption. We are partnered with Public Animal Welfare Services (PAWS); this event will bring together the community of Rome, GA, to witness the charm, beauty, and personality of shelter dogs as they strut down the runway.

“Dang Good Dog.” We believe every dog in the United States needs and deserves a suitable home. We strive to change the perspective of shelter dogs from overlooked to valued companions, promoting adoption as the preferred option through education, advocacy, and community engagement. We aim to create a society where every dog, no matter the size, is cherished and provided with the love, care, and respect they deserve.

At “Good Dogs – Shelter Showcase,” our vision is to transform the way our community perceives and engages with rescue dogs. We envision a future where every shelter dog is seen as a cherished companion, worthy of love, and a forever home. Throughout our showcase event, we aspire to create a movement of compassion, advocacy, and action where the potential of rescue dog’s shines bright, inspiring individuals and families to open their hearts and homes to these deserving dogs. Together, we envision every pet to have a place to call home.

Our goals for Good Dogs – Shelter Showcase are to bridge the gap between dogs in need of a home and people in our community wanting a companion. We hope to become an annual event that shows off the heart and soul of each dog. In combination of the event we want to create a space where dogs can be found and people can learn more about what makes them special.
